Mr. Amir Iqbal joined the board of directors at United Distributors Pakistan Limited in September 2024. He brings over 27 years of experience in general management, having led various sales and marketing teams across Pakistan, Australia, and Africa. Amir has successfully managed several global and local mega brands and has directed cross-functional teams to achieve significant business results.
He is currently working as the Chief Executive Officer of Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company and Thar Foundation. In his previous roles, he served as the Chief Executive Officer for Engro Agritrade, Chief Commercial Officer for Engro Fertilizers, and CEO & Managing Director for Bayer Pakistan.
Additionally, he has been associated with Lahore university of management Sciences (LUMS) as an adjunct faculty member.
